  • RedHawk Safe App

    RedHawk Safe, powered by AppArmor, features all of Miami’s mobile safety tools in one location. Weather procedures, the emergency Mobile BlueLight, and the Friendly Walk and Virtual Walkhome features are among the many resources available on RedHawk Safe. Services include a safety chat, emergency plans and procedures, campus maps, support resources, and reporting options.

  • Mobile Mammography

    In an effort to make early breast cancer detection more available to Miami employees, TriHealth provides digital screening mammography through their Women’s Services Van.

  • Middletown Bennett Recreation Center

    The C. Eugene Bennett Recreation Center (Gym) is available at no cost to all Miami Middletown students, faculty, staff, and their guests. The facility is open 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Monday through Thursday during the fall and spring semesters. It is closed on Fridays and during winter and summer terms.

  • Miami Recreation Gym Membership

    The Oxford campus Rec Center memberships are included in the Oxford student fees; faculty/staff, community members, and regional students can purchase a membership.

  • Miami Cares Resources

    If you have unanticipated difficulties during your college journey at Miami, you can notify Miami of your needs through a single form to request assistance related to any of the following: food insecurity, housing, laptop replacement, caregiver resources, financial difficulties, and support for foster care alumni and emancipated youth.

  • Hamilton Gymnasium

    The Miami Hamilton recreational center is free for faculty, staff, and student use; your Miami ID is required to enter. The gym is open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Fridays during the fall and spring semesters (closed during the summer and winter terms).

  • Faculty Notification Request

    If you are hospitalized or have experienced a death in the immediate family, you can request that the office of the dean of students verify your absence and notify your instructors.

  • Employee Health Center

    Employees and dependents covered by the Miami health plan can see a health care provider at no cost through the employee health clinic on the Oxford campus.

  • Women Helping Women Crisis Intervention

    Women Helping Women offers support services to help you plan for your safety, answer legal questions, connect you with services like housing, and advocate by your side as you recover from dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.
