    Meet with a Learning Specialist to evaluate your learning goals and to develop a plan for action (e.g., better study strategies, improving performance, or optimizing the educational experience.)

    Get paired with an academic coach at Rinella Learning Center to work on developing effective learning strategies through regular one-on-one meetings.

  • Expressing the Self Through Art

    Therapy group where members will pay attention to their process of creating art through a variety of mediums and how this relates to the way they function emotionally, intrapersonally and interpersonally. Supplies provided; no art skills or experience needed. Each week members will create a piece of art according to a specific prompt or theme.

  • Student Counseling Services – Regionals

    Miami University’s regional campuses provide students with confidential counseling services free of charge on topics related to suicide awareness and prevention, personal concerns, relationship issues, and mental health, and support services for student veterans.

  • Individual Counseling, Oxford Campus

    Meet face-to-face or virtually one-on-one with a member of Miami’s Student Counseling Service. The first three visits are free. $25 per visit for additional appointments.

  • Group Therapy, Oxford Campus

    Student Counseling Service offers free weekly group therapy on a variety of topics, including anxiety, depression, body image, survivors of SIV, coping skills, grief, identity-related support groups, substance use issues, relationships, and more.
