  • No Contact Directives

    Miami may direct a student to have no contact with another individual for a specified period. These situations include, but are not limited to: harassment, threats, physical assault, stalking, domestic violence, dating violence, sexual misconduct, retaliation or other behaviors as indicated in the Code of Student Conduct.

  • Mobile Mammography

    In an effort to make early breast cancer detection more available to Miami employees, TriHealth provides digital screening mammography through their Women’s Services Van.

  • Miami Cares Resources

    If you have unanticipated difficulties during your college journey at Miami, you can notify Miami of your needs through a single form to request assistance related to any of the following: food insecurity, housing, laptop replacement, caregiver resources, financial difficulties, and support for foster care alumni and emancipated youth.

  • Faculty Notification Request

    If you are hospitalized or have experienced a death in the immediate family, you can request that the office of the dean of students verify your absence and notify your instructors.

  • Employee Health Center

    Employees and dependents covered by the Miami health plan can see a health care provider at no cost through the employee health clinic on the Oxford campus.

  • Women Helping Women Crisis Intervention

    Women Helping Women offers support services to help you plan for your safety, answer legal questions, connect you with services like housing, and advocate by your side as you recover from dating violence, domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking.

  • 911 – EMS

    If you are in an immediate, life-threatening emergency or someone’s safety is in immediate risk, CALL 911!

  • Motivation and Procrastination

    An online workshop through the Rinella Learning Center to help you reflect on your motivation, set goals, learn techniques to make you more efficient, and understand your thinking about schoolwork.

  • Student of Concern Form

    The Student of Concern reporting form offers a streamlined process for reporting concerns, whether you’re a student, faculty/staff member, or community member. Students can use the provided form to share worries about themselves or friends, while faculty and staff can report concerning behavior they observe.

  • CAPTRUST Financial Services

    Free confidential financial wellness and advice for Miami employees. Employees can call the CAPTRUST advice desk to ask any financial question as part of their benefits package. CAPTRUST also provides live webinars, helpful articles, and financial calculators.
